You Can Volunteer Your Time Tileston cannot function without the time and talents of our volunteers.
We need people power to do administrative work in the clinic and offices, as well as medical personnel and other
healthcare workers in the clinics. You can volunteer as:

Nurse Practitioner

Dentist
Dental Assistant
Pharmacist
Pharmacy Technician
Intake Interviewer
Interpreter
Administrative Personnel You Can Register and Participate
in an Upcoming Event.
Participating in fund raising activities is another great way to get involved.
Fund raising events help us in our mission to provide health care to people without health insurance and whose income falls
below the federal poverty line.
A major fundraising event, a Golf Tournament sponsored by Coastal Association
of Health Underwriters, took place June 4 at Castle Bay Golf Course in Hampstead, NC. Over 100 people participated
and through their generosity, the proceeds of more than $5200 went to Tileston.
On August 12th, a
dinner cruise for 6 aboard a beautiful 42' private yacht was raffled to benefit Tileston. What a wonderful way to
support the clinic! The winner sailed in the sunset and enjoyed a meal under the stars.
On
October 11 the St. Paul's Concert Series hosted the Cape Fear Chamber Players at St. Paul's Episcopal
Church at 16th & Market in a concert to benefit Tileston. Admission was free, but the audience generously made
contributions to the Tileston Health Clinic.

Patients at the Tileston
Health Clinic receive the finest care from the Doctors, Nurses,
Dentists, Pharmacists, and other health care providers who donate their time and services to treat them. Last
year we conducted 4000 patient visits with ailments from common colds to serious chronic diseases. These
diseases include diabetes, hypertension, chronic pain, depression and anxiety. The doctors prescribed approximately
22,000 prescriptions to treat their ailments. Providing the proper medication, however, remains a major
challenge.
We invite you to join with us in our efforts to provide the medications that patients need.
Won’t you please consider donating to a Tileston
Medicine Fund? A donation – no matter
how small or large -- will benefit those who cannot help themselves. It’s not necessary to
give big. If every person who reads our newsletter or who visits our website gave $1, $5, $10, $20 or $50,
we’d be better able to provide medications for patients… be it as little as a bottle of aspirin or as much as
a month’s supply of insulin or other drug to maintain health.
Tileston is a 501(C) 3 organization. This means that your donations are tax-deductible.

28401. Help us with our vision to be a “community supported organization providing comprehensive
